Minor Surgery
Quite often we might feel dissatisfied with one aspect of our appearance, such as a mole, polyp, sebaceous cyst, seborrhoeic wart, or other skin lesion,. These can normally be removed, by a fully qualified and experienced practitioner, under local anaesthetic quite simply and painlessly. All such items, once removed are sent for independent histological examination to ensure peace of mind.
Qualified Nurses
All Cheshire Image Clinic nurses are qualified to offer diagnosis and removal (where indicated) of unwanted skin lesions. This can be dome using one of several methods which include excision, shave and cautery or cryotherapy.
Regular Training
They keep up to date by regular attendance at Royal College of General Practitioners conferences and training programmes.
Ingrowing toe nails
These can be treated very simply, effectively and relatively painlessly by a wedge resection under local anaesthetic.
All medico-legal aspects are covered through the Cheshire Image Clinic protocols and governance.
